Whilst installation of different products is not overly complicated it is critical to getting the right result and can also be dangerous (especially installing sub-floor insulation).  The inherant difficulty with insulation is that once installed you never know what you are missing out on. Research has highlighted that a gap in insulation as small as a few millimeters can reduce the overall effectiveness of insulation by up to 50%. Being ‘pedantic’ in your installation can make a big difference in the long term.
