Cocoon Super is the highest underfloor insulation rating available and is ideal for very cold houses or to reduce subfloor drafts.
It comes in pre cut widths designed to be installed between your joists. Available in different widths to suit the joist spacings in most houses. The material grade is an R2.6.
How to chooose the right width:
Measure the gap between you floor joists, add 50mm, then round up to the nearest width below.
450mm, 500mm, 600mm 650mm.
This will ensure that you have enough product width to fold and staple it into the sides of the joists. The manufacturer requires a minimum of 25mm on each side (50mm total)
Be sure to check multiple locations under your house as there are often variations which require 2 or 3 different sizes. We can mix and match as needed including part bales - call us if you need part bales and we will arrange that.
