Hardie™ Mineral Insulation is specifically designed to provide optimal thermal performance while contributing to the fire resistance of wall systems when used in conjunction with James Hardie's fiber cement products.
Installation Requirements
Should be fitted tightly in all framing cavities against the flexible underlay
Installation requires ensuring the flexible underlay is not pushed out of the framing plane
Must be installed 50mm bigger in each direction than the frame cavity for proper friction fit
Can be cut on site to fit smaller cavities while maintaining the oversized dimension
Simple installation without specialized tools
Compatible with typical New Zealand wall construction methods

Excellent thermal resistance with R-Value of 2.74m²K/W
Contributes to wall system fire resistance ratings
